Description

Seeking individual with track record planning, developing and introducing new, customer-relevant products to the small and medium sized business markets.

 

Activities:

 

*** Strategic planning, development and implementation of improved general liability products for small and medium sized businesses such as: restaurants, strip malls, garages, machine shops, motels, professional office buildings, small manufacturing plants, etc.

 

*** Evaluate and implement price level adjustments to maintain profitability.

 

*** Participate in managing state rate filings.

 

*** Collaborate with Actuarial, Underwriting, Marketing, Application Services departments to improve risk rating, efficiency, and effectiveness of underwriting process.

 

*** Work with various levels of management concerning operations and project phase scheduling.

 

Qualifications:

 

***Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of knowledge in Product Management and Underwriting

 

*** Demonstrated success with Commercial Lines of Insurance

 

*** CPCU, or working toward, preferred
