Position description The department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a board certified or board eligible fellowship trained radiologist with interests in Ultrasound imaging and a commitment to clinical excellence. The position will include general outpatient and inpatient clinical ultrasound and also ultrasound guided interventional procedures such as solid organ biopsies, fluid aspirations, and some ultrasound guided targeted therapies. There will be a heavy clinical emphasis on ultrasound, with additional flexibility to possibly participate in other areas such as abdominal imaging or for sub specialized practices in vascular and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
We are searching for an outstanding individual who has an interest and track record in participating with other radiologists, physicists, scientists, and clinicians advancing the practice through innovation and research. As a modality based division we share staff and closely collaborate with other more anatomically based Radiology divisions. Mayo Clinic Radiology has a large residency program with multiple cross sectional imaging fellowship positions each year. Mayo Clinic offers significant infrastructure for clinically driven investigations. The division is supported by dedicated Ultrasound research and education resources. License or certification Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible with advanced fellowship training in ultrasound or abdominal imaging.
