Position Description

Dynetics is seeking a talented Entry Level Software Developer to join our Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Trainer development team. This team’s purpose is to write simulation software that trains warfighters on how to operate a UAS. The position involves using modern software processes and tools in the development of the simulation software.

The team consists of highly skilled developers that value utilizing new technologies, identifying best practices, and working together to solve challenging problems. As part of following an Agile software development process, our team is always looking to improve how our software is developed.

Direct communication with customers, end users, and team members occurs on a daily basis. Our team shares a passion for delivering exceptional software, and we have earned a reputation for delivering robust solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with 0-3 years of experience.

Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of C# or Java, C++, data structures, object-oriented design, and effective unit testing. Candidate must be self-motivated and demonstrate good communication skills.

Other Qualifications

Knowledge and experience with CMMI, Agile, Scrum, Git, .NET Framework, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio, and design patterns are a plus.

Examples of programming completed as part of the candidate’s undergraduate or graduate degree program, or as developed and maintained for hobby/recreational purposes, are highly desired for review and evaluation (e.g., links to personal GitHub account are acceptable).

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
