Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Directing and coordinating activities relative to administering personal trusts, charitable trusts, agency accounts, ILITs and some probate estates in according with the terms and provisions of the governing documents. This includes the oversight of assets, disbursement and receipt of funds, exercise of discretion according to trust, documentation of account related matters, exercise of fiduciary duties, and planning and interpretation specific to the client situation.
Maintaining regular and proactive contact with grantor, beneficiaries, legal counsel, financial advisors, or interested parties to discuss and advise on issues pertinent to the trust.
Working as part of a dynamic team, overseeing and coordinating the holistic services provided to clients; Delegating and managing the work of staff; coaching and mentoring staff through participation in career development and performance management activities.
Engaging in practice development, client expansion, and cross-serving to grow the practice by generating leads, meeting with future appointments, maintaining a network of internal and external referral sources, and meeting personal marketing plan and business development goals.
Participating in internal management of the organization through contributions to specified initiatives and projects.
Bachelors’ Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field is required.
5 to 7+ years experience in personal trust account administration, financial planning, investments, and/or estate planning experience is required
4+ years technical experience with estate administration and recommending wealth transfer and asset protection strategies is preferred
JD and/or Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation is highly preferred, but not required. CFP or CPA is preferred, but not required.
This position may require up to 25% local and national travel.
