The successful candidate will help to implement a new program management element to the Company’s Treasury Department with regards to financial modeling development and oversight.  The candidate will partner with quantitative analysts and Treasury Management to manage multiple model development projects, develop key performance indicators and management reporting to monitor the overall Model Risk Governance program.  The role will participate in development projects across risk disciplines including Liquidity Risk, Interest Rate Risk, and Capital. Specific tasks will include: 

  • Identify and track key development milestones for each development project
  • Coordinate resource needs between various Treasury groups to optimize use of technology and human resources
  • Develop management reporting to effectively communicate project status, roadblocks, and timelines to management
  • Continually monitor project elements against policy requirements and update as needed
  • Develop and monitor ongoing model monitoring reports to effectively communicate model results to management.

 The candidate should be able to implement sustainable project management practices over a large number of individual projects and track to completion.  Additionally, the candidate should be able to manage the project scheduling process to ensure all projects move forward and resources are used efficiently. 



Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven to ten years of experience in an applicable risk management environment
- CPA, PMP or other professional certifications

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
- Considerable understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
- Considerable knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
- Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills
- Must possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address changing workforce needs
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
