Job Description

Serving as the primary resources, responsible for providing strategic sales support to T&PS Sales Officers (TSOs) and Relationship Managers/Bankers from other related LOBs.

Directly supports new business generation through the development of proposals, presentations, proformas, Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).  

Also performs extensive data analysis of client and portfolio metrics to uncover sales opportunities and prepares relationship reviews for key clients on a selective basis in order to assist in managing profitability.  

May also participate in other sales related key initiates, including but not limited to cross-sell identification and origination, calling activities, coordination of implementations, and support for risk/legal/compliance-related initiatives.

Responsible for preparing sales tools and exhibits, such as presentations (internal and external), proposals, proformas, client schematics, relationship reviews, etc, including customized contents development, definition of value proposition.  Analyzes results of relationship reviews and recommends service changes.

Dives the processing and completion of RFP/RFI responses.  Approves certain exception pricing as authorized and enters the approved pricing into the system.  

Performs data-mining of sales/retention opportunities, identifies trends and recommends on portfolio growth strategy.  Identifies and works on cross-sell opportunities independently and reports on cross-sell activities.  

Participates in pre-call planning sessions for complex and/or multi-service sales pitches by leveraging in-depth client knowledge to brainstorm targeted client solutions with TSOs.  May attend sales call and independently delivers sales presentation.  


Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Treasury & Payment Solutions, including product features and benefits.
  • 5 years of work experience in financial services or banking industry in a Treasury/Cash Management environment. 
  • 4 years of experience in sales, sales support, and/or direct client contact.
