Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Shift: 07:30-18:00 (Thursday to Monday schedule 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or Sunday to Thursday schedule 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)

License: Licensed in South Carolina
Certifications: Joint Commission Certified in Stroke Rehab
Must-Have: Clinical knowledge of acute rehab
Job Description:
- Scheduled according to facility policy, expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
- Located on the 6th Floor Inpatient Rehab Unit
- Unit specifics: 14 beds, patient ratios of 6:1 for nursing therapists, 7:1 for primary therapists, and 4-5:1 for treating therapists daily schedule
- Equipment: ADL suite, Car Simulator, Stairs, Biodex, Lite Gait, SCI FIT, Nustep, BITS, L300, H200
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Floating policy: Will not float
- Experience with geriatric acute rehab required
- Professional therapists with rehab experience to treat a variety of diagnoses
- Flexible schedule options and individual 1:1 treatments
- 85% productivity standard
- Team atmosphere with open communication with Medical Director/Hospitalist
- Dress code: Navy Blue Scrubs
- The facility is recognized for its supportive management, emphasis on teamwork, and excellent work-life balance
- Located in a city rich with history, cultural sites, and aquatic activities such as boat tours and kayak adventures
