Engineering to include availability improvement program (AIP), root cause analysis, capital project definition, capital project technical lead and engineering design, efficiency monitoring and improvement, environmental testing; Predictive Maintenance to include equipment monitoring; post request quality check.CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS: •Observable competencies/ behaviors essential to process success•Strong working relationships with interdependent process, sub-process and segment process owners•Effective, innovative optimization of leading performance standards•Workflow and operational efficiency•Products/services process produces: Critical equipment/ component RUL estimates; availability improvement programs; maintenance plans/schedules; equipment documentation reports; equipment design/changes/justification.FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENTS:•Ensures effective coordination within Lake Worth Electric Utility Engineering•Coaches and develops Engineering teams•Develops, maintains effective and efficient workflow and ongoing operations process modifications, as needed; communicates changes to other process owners and/or those impacted•Identifies trends and sees that implementation of corrective action is complete, as necessary; informs others•Provides and maintains service level agreements to meet or exceed customer needs•Provides leadership in meetingsafety goals•Administers collective bargaining agreements, identifying and reporting implementation successes and deficiencies as they relate to process.•Makes significant contribution in personnel administration, employee relations, and preparation of, or administration of budgets relative to process responsibilitiesTECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:•Working knowledge of the planning, design construction or operation of Electric Systems.•Working knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance best practices and demonstrated application.•Demonstrated knowledge of the basic electric generating equipment cycles.•Experience in related trade industry organizations on policy setting boards or committees.•Working knowledge of financing accounting and budgeting.
