Description

CallisonRTKL seeks a Transition Planner with acute healthcare facility experience to join its Transition Services Group located in Dallas.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in and recommends planning strategies to support complex facility transitions with little assistance
  • Manages all aspects of transition planning from identification of occupancy planning and building activation requirements to training and execution of move events
  • Evaluates requirements to maintain operations during small-to-large scale transitions, including personnel and equipment
  • Develops checklists and educational material to promote a smooth transition from the existing location to the new facility
  • Develops and coordinates any additional tools needed to assist with a facility transition
  • Writes reports or analyses of planning issues, and promotes transition planning objectives through education
  • Conducts quality control on documents and assists in the coordination and preparation of all transition plans
  • Establishes operational goals and objectives to ensure timely execution of the relocation
  • Attends meetings with clients and is responsible for developing and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Assists in managing the project schedule and timely delivery of documents during each phase of the project
  • Understands the goals and objectives of the firm and acts to further them
  • Shows aptitude for supervisory skills and displays leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Business or related healthcare field; Master’s Degreepreferred
  • 4-8years of acute healthcare facility transitions services
  • Registered Nurse (RN) preferred
  • Knowledge of occupancy planning and building activation requirements
  • Experience in patient transport and move logistics
  • Experience in developing training and education programs preferred
  • Experience in lean methodology and or process redesign projects preferred
