The Transformation Manager will be responsible for setting the roadmap of operations improvements for the plant as well as coordinating, enabling and (sometimes) executing the improvement plan. Additionally, the Transformation Manager will be responsible for LEAN training and building a culture of continuous improvement at the plant. This individual will have a strong partnership with the Operations Manager and BU Transformation team to help improve the overall efficiencies within the facility. This opportunity has great visibility and opportunity for tangible impact. You will need to be resourceful, self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic.


•Create/grow culture of aggressive, tangible, bottom line improvements

•Continuously evaluate plant value stream map, metrics, and strategic goals to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities

•Work with Operations Manager and BU Transformation team to build and maintain an aggressive plant improvement plan

•Coordinate plant and corporate/BU resources to execute plant improvement plan

•Train plant employees on basic lean tools and kaizen methodology; coordinate corporate/BU assistance for advanced lean training

•Coach and facilitate MDI (Managing for Daily Improvement) daily and hourly performance management and development of problem solving A3s

Desired Experience

•5+ years of operations, integrated planning, or plant engineering experience and/or 3+ years of experience as a lean practitioner

•Strong change management skills; must be able to influence shop floor employees and managers

•Ideal candidate would be currently within the WI family of businesses and familiar with current culture, trends and initiatives

•Short and long term project management skills

•Lean understanding and experiencepreferred

•Ability and disposition to respectfully challenge status quo

•Inspire and ability to influence without authority

•Intellectually curious

•Proven track record of developing teams

•Ability to facilitate hands-on training


Bachelors or equivalent in Management
