Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, development and facilitation of default training programs
  • Responsible for the development, creation and implementation of user guides for company-wide computer based training efforts
  • Responsible for keeping user guides current according to industry changes and in compliance with regulations
  • Responsible for creating and presenting new functional training initiatives company-wide
  • Responsible for maintaining contact with key departments to keep abreast of any upcoming changes or initiatives that would effect the current training programs
  • Responsible for creating and/or updating training modules as requested by servicing areas
  • Responsible for creating and/or updating assessments associated with the corresponding training modules
  • Observe trainees during class; evaluate and document their performance and assessment scores on a weekly basis during the training period
  • Report to the Training Manager weekly and Department managers as necessary
  • Responsible for the development of the trainees during the training period by coaching and counseling as well as administering the training material
  • Identify and implement appropriate revisions and updates to training materials
  • Conduct Needs Assessments with Department Managers to identify training requirements
  • Develop training programs and schedules to satisfy department training requirements
  • Responsible for the selection of the appropriate medium for successful delivery of training programs, i.e. PowerPoint Presentation, User Guide, Computer Training
  • Provide support during and after the training period
  • Evaluate existing departmental procedures, update and document all procedures online and in hard copy formats; create procedures if none exist
  • Create and present solutions to resolve productivity and performance issues identified during the evaluation process
  • Responsible for working with all servicing areas on shared projects as required


  • College Degreepreferred.
  • 2+ years of developing and delivering training and employee coaching
  • 5+ years mortgage banking industry experiencepreferred.
  • 3+ years default servicing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to design and develop training programs, materials and guides
  • Ability to coordinate the development of procedure manuals
  • Strong leadership ability, initiative and teamwork required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent and enthusiastic presentation skills 
  • Creative, flexible and dependable
  • PowerPoint, Excel, Word experiencerequired
