Full Job Description
Could you be the full-time onsite Train System Domain Leader in Saint-Bruno, QC, CA we're looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and driven teammates. You'll ensure the seamless integration of Train System methodologies, tools, and processes, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, innovative rail solutions. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Train Project Managers, System Engineers, Site Managers, and Quality Departments), manage the development of team competencies, and much more. We'll look to you for: - Supporting the team in resolving issues, particularly those involving other stakeholders (internal or external), and assisting in defining priorities, - Ensuring design reviews are prepared and documented as per the project/program schedule and following up on the main open actions, - Managing the development of the team to ensure capacity, workload, and skills align with project needs, with support from the Site TS Metier Manager, - Supporting the Site TS Metier Manager in forecasting workload and identifying necessary resources to meet QCD commitments, - Allocating adequate team resources to projects, programs, and tenders at the site, - Reporting on team activity progress and alerting the Site Metier Manager of any issues potentially impacting QCD commitments, - Ensuring Alstom Transport/Engineering rules and processes are understood and applied within the team, - Contributing to the improvement of Train System Metier rules and practices in collaboration with the Site Metier Manager and central Metier team, - Applying and following up on the People Management Cycle in alignment with N+1 and HR instructions."
