Could you be the full-time Train Architecture Engineer / General Studies Mechanical Lead Engineer in our Engineering Department (site-based) we're looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates. You'll play a critical role in shaping the mechanical architecture and general studies for our railway projects, ensuring excellence in quality, cost, and delivery. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (design, validation, manufacturing), coordinate General Studies deliverables and reviews, and ensure alignment with internal processes and customer requirements, among other responsibilities. You'll specifically take care of defining and managing train and car layouts, weight distribution, and gauge compliance, but also allocating 3D volumes to subsystems early in the project.
