The Business combines sales, trading and research teams who structure a range of financial market products and market these to our targeted client base. Deutsche Bank trades all currencies, including G10, Emerging Markets and Precious Metals, in all tenors. Working in a period of economic and regulatory uncertainty, the team places emphasis on innovation, collaboration, and risk management. The Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) business is looking to hire a Trader within the Foreign Exchange (FX) Derivatives global complex.

What You'll Do
  • Quoting the Bank's franchise in the region across a wide range of currencies and derivative products
  • Meeting with institutional and corporate clients alongside Sales to maintain and develop the Bank's FX franchise
  • Identify and nurture new opportunities and relationships with institutional and corporate clients
  • Project work to continually improve our systems and infrastructure


How You'll Lead
  • Direct portfolio risk-management within flow derivative global portfolios
  • Oversee execution of client transactions and hedges across wide range of foreign-exchange markets


Skills You'll Need
  • Understanding of quantitative trading techniques for FX Derivative portfolios in both developed and emerging markets
  • Experience in an array of currencies and derivative products
  • Specialization running a global block an advantage
  • Strong understanding of market structure and capable of building relationships with participants and stakeholders (clients, exchanges, regulators etc)
  • Commercial focus, ability to take initiatives, and skills to solve complex business problems

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $180K to $250K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
