Experience – 3 to 5 years in Toxicology in cosmetic safety.
Education – MS or PhD in Toxicology or Pharmacology.
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct literature searches, analyze data (hazard assessment for human health endpoints), and prepare toxicological assessment of ingredients used in cosmetic and consumer products.
Conduct risk assessment of cosmetic/personal care products, including exposure and Margin of Safety calculations OR other required risk assessment calculations.
Draft Safety Assessments cosmetic/personal care products as per the regulatory requirements (EU and China).
Analyze the raw material documents and assess raw material for safety, used in cosmetic product.
Should be able to deliver the tasks with no OR minimal support from others.
Should be able to interpret toxicological data (systemic and local toxicity).
Should have experience in hazard/risk assessment of consumer/cosmetic products.
Should have experience to prepare cosmetic safety assessments for regulatory submission.
Candidate should have experience and knowledgeable regarding China and EU regulations related to cosmetics.
Should have at least 3-5 years of working experience in cosmetic safety.
Educational qualification: MS/Ph.D. (specialization in Toxicology/Pharmacology).
