Location: This role can be based in either San Francisco or Sunnyvale depending on what the candidate approved for hire chooses. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join an exciting new pilot program called the Flexible Resource Pool, in which you would rotate to various teams for short term assignments in either acquisition or customer marketing- covering vacancies from leaves of absence. This allows you to get to know multiple teams and lines of business in a given year and make immediate impact in the short term. We are seeking experienced hires for this program who can hit the ground running, and with each new assignment add even more value with your learnings from the previous. Responsibilities may include Partner closely with cross-functional teams to shape and execute an acquisition strategy across channels, aimed at attracting, educating, and converting consumers into customers.Explore and validate new growth opportunities including partnerships/ sponsorships, new channels and strategies.Communicate, educate and update broader organization on results, plans, and strategies.Develop customer marketing strategies to drive upsell/cross-sell and deepen customer relationships.Develop deep customer empathy and understanding for the challenges and triumphs that our audience encounters. Execute integrated upsell, cross sell and thought leadership campaigns, including creative development channel strategy and audience definition.Develop automated programs that deliver the right messages to the right audience at the right time, leveraging LinkedIn data and lifecycle marketing techniques.Manage a full customer marketing funnel from customer engagement to lead creation to deal close.Measure and forecast business impact.Ability to travel to otherLinkedIn offices such as Sunnyvale, Mountain View and San Francisco based on assignments. Basic Qualifications 5+ years marketing experience BA or BS degree or equivalent experiencePreferredQualifications Marketingexperience in an online B2B business with a track record for driving growth (preferably SaaS customer or lifecycle marketing)Familiarity with the latest digital B2B marketing and selling conceptsAbility to frame insights and communicate recommendations simply and effectivelyStrong messaging, content development and writing skillsMA/MBA degree in marketing or related fieldEstablished track record for developing successful acquisition and/or demand generation, and upsell marketing campaigns across SEM, display, email and social mediachannels.Demonstrated experience with performance management including by analyzing results, developing a plan of action to optimize performance and establishing best practices for reporting and forecasting.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentProven success in motivating cross-functional teams and acquisition partners to implement winning strategies and programs.Creative idea generation and execution, including writing copy, developing campaign ideas, working with design, etc.
