The Total Rewards Manager will make big contributions in the areas of Benefits, Compensation, and HRIS. Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards, this position will administer compensation and benefit programs, as well as be responsible for the maintenance of our HR systems. This role also contributes to the development of our evolving rewards strategy.




?        You’ve spent time working within Rewards (aka Compensation, Benefits & HRIS) teams and in HR specialist / generalist environments, and can effortlessly balance conflicting priorities and move quickly to address time-sensitive requests. You shift seamlessly between nailing the day to day basics and driving new programs and ideas forward.

?        You view all of the people you interact with as customers and have a desire to deliver the best “products” and service to them. You approach your work first and foremost as a service provider.

?        You have the ability to translate benefits and compensation concepts into a story that hits home and resonates with people who aren’t experts in this area. Simplifying messages around these topics is one of your strengths.

?        You’ve built a strong foundation of knowledge in the Rewards arena, but are able to translate and apply your approach based on the situation and need. You never lose sight of the bigger picture.

?        You’re comfortable working in the spaces above and below your role, and dive in to get your hands dirty to get a project across the finish line.

?        You’re driven to learn by doing. You tackle problems large and small, and take ownership of them. You identify issues as they happen, or even before, and proactively seek and lead solutions.

?        Contribute to  the design, implementation and communication of our total rewards programs. Assist with with the development of benefits, compensation and systems strategies, including roadmaps to get us there.


?        Lead administration of our compensation programs / processes, including: annually analyzing our  ranges to keep us competitive,  job evaluations and reporting. Provide input and recommendations on pay decisions as needed.


?        Lead in the administration of our health, welfare and retirement plans, including annual renewal and Open Enrollment planning and execution, employee education, maintenance of eligibility/enrollment and compliance.

?        Oversight of our HRIS and Ben Admin systems and businessprocesses. Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of HR data across all systems and perform audits to make sure our data is clean.


?        Work hand in hand with our HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition teams. Act as a valued and trusted partner in delivering solutions to our internal clients.


?        Contribute to developing and improving metrics. Dig into trends and tell stories that lead to actionable insights. Develop ad hoc reporting as requested.


?        Contribute to the planning and execution of our Request For Proposals (RFP) to scan the market, inform decisions and ensure all our needs are met.

?        Act as the primary contact to our Finance and Accounting teams, including Payroll. Partner to continuously improve our processes, programs and systems and tackle cross-functional issues as they arise.  Provide input to the budgeting process as needed.


?        Do the heavy lifting for the compensation & benefits surveys we participate in. Analyze results of the surveys and develop specific recommendations.

?        Make sure that we comply with all benefit-related requirements such as ACA, annual filings and tax documents.


?        Be the “go to” person and escalation point for our Total Rewards Specialist , in order to contribute to their professional growth and development.


?        Act as a point of contact for carriers/vendors and service provides. Manage relationships as needed.





?        7+ years progressive experience working in Corporate HRcompensation & benefits (strong compensationexperience highly desired). Experience with sales incentive compensation and plans a plus. Tech industry and/or international experiencepreferred.


?        Advanced proficiency in compensations benefit regulations, market trends, and program design, as well as legislation that may affect policies/practices, including ACA, ERISA, FLSA, COBRA and other applicable Department of Labor (DOL) and/or taxlaws and regulations. Experience with leaves of absence and SOX are a plus.


?        Deep experience with annual compensation and benefits cycles, providing expert guidance on the design, development and administration of programs, communications and tools/systems to support them.

?        Experience working within a generalist / specialist or center of excellence (COE) environment, including delivering products and support to HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition.


?        Understanding of the Finance & Accounting functions, and have worked to develop budget projections/inputs, feed and maintenance of HR data to their systems (such as benefit deductions and taxation to Payroll), and building organizational hierarchies in an HRIS.


?        Must be proficient in Human Resource Information Systems and Benefit Administration systems. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus. Working knowledge of Payroll and/or Finance systems desired.


?        Advanced Excel user and proficiency in using the GSuite and MS suite of products, such as Word and PowerPoint.


?        Project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate in a fast-paced & performance-oriented environment, and a proven track record leading successful compensation and benefits initiatives and projects.


?        Ability to exercise discretion, judgment, tact and poise in handling highly sensitive and confidential information.


?        Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.


?        Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills, including creating company-wide comms and presentations.


?        Very strong organizational skills, attention to detail and analytical reasoning required.


?        Bachelor’s degreerequired. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.
