Examine claims data, investigate facts of loss, determine coverage & liability, and adjust claims within limit of authority.


*** Review, evaluate, and negotiate injury claims with aggregate file exposures of $2,500 or similar.


*** Interpret and apply written coverage accurately to establish claim.


*** Establish & initiate investigative plan; complete appropriate reports; take recorded statements; review loss reserves; and adjust or open hidden exposures.


*** Participate in investigations of medical providers for Personal Injury Protection claims.


*** Evaluate settlement alternatives, extend offer to appropriate party, and initiate payment.


*** Determine and report subrogation or fraud potential and refer opportunity to management.


*** Manage litigation and recovery costs.


*** Provide technical expertise regarding repair and replacement of property damages to include mechanical components of a vehicle, homeowner damages, and similar exposures.
