Great opportunity for an HR professional to make his/her mark. Leading food distribution company is hiring a Director, HR who will be the top HR person for the company.
You will start out as a solo contributor working at a 100 person distribution center in a city in Idaho. Focus will be on developing and implementing creative HR programs and policies at this site, then fine-tuning and eventually, introduce in approximately 12 company locations.
Priorities: Iimprove the hiring and selection process, improve training of supervisors and employees, and develop effective retention programs.

Here’s a description of the ideal candidate:
College graduate withHRexperience which will include 3 or more years in a leadership position; Master's degree very desirable.
Comfort level, and past experience, working with closely with hourly workers while also contributing as a key member of the management team.
SHRP-SCP and/or SHRM-CP certification.
Broad experience in most, if not all, HR specialties such as staffing, training, benefits, safety, associate relations, compensation, performance management, HRIS compliance and employment law.
