Medline has an immediate opening for a Tissue Regeneration Sales Specialist in the Dayton, OH area. This person will provide extensive knowledge and expertise to our sales departments and customers regarding Medline’s expanding wound biologics product portfolio. As the aging population increases and the prevalence of comorbidities (e.g. diabetes, obesity) continues to rise, the need for more advanced wound products is growing rapidly. This market includes collagen products, xenografts (animal-derived tissue products), bioengineered skin substitutes, and allografts (human-derived tissue products). 

After years of success in the advanced wound care dressing market, Medline is expanding its reach into the tissue regeneration sector. We are seeking an entrepreneurial, hard-working, dynamic professional with a solid education or background in sales and/or marketing who has a desire to work for a large, fast-paced, private organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.


The challenging responsibilities of the position include:

  • Creating and delivering sales presentations regarding Medline’s tissue regeneration product portfolio to multiple healthcare facility decision makers
  • Calling on hospitals and other healthcare facilities within assigned territory (both independently and in collaboration with other Medline sales representatives) to expand sales of the tissue regeneration product lines
  • Conducting and managing in-services and educational programs, as well as handling customer product questions and objections
  • Establishing and nurturing clinical, management, and administration relationships

Aside from the above field sales responsibilities, the sales specialist will be working closely with the product management team to develop strategic plans for the tissue regeneration product line. In an effort to meet sales, marketing, and corporate growth objectives, this person will also help:

  • Participate in overall product strategy, clinical research initiatives, and conceptual product development for new and emerging products
  • Develop key messaging to effectively communicate product features and benefits
  • Conduct market research and identify/monitor market trends that affect sales, service, and product development
  • Partake in key sales promotional and educational activities with other Medline sales organizations
  • Gather, analyze, and compare competitors’ data and pricing to Medline’s tissue regeneration portfolio
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3 to 7 years Medical sales experience/ acute care preferred
  • Up 50-75% local travel
  • Strong presentation skills and effective communication skills both internally (with other Medline sales representatives) and externally (customers and other partners)
  • MS Office skills (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication and follow-up skills

Preferred

  • Clinical sales and marketing/product management experience

Experience in working with VA facilities and/or hospital outpatient wound centers
