This role is onsite, in Jamestown, North Dakota. This role may be eligible for relocation.
What You Will Do:
- You will test and prepare equipment for testing to ensure that systems run according to necessary specifications on small platforms/systems.
- You will document test results and maintain applicable records.
- You will gain knowledge on measuring and analyzing equipment and processes to ensure production quality standards are met.
- You will learn about performing inspections for both in-process and finished systems.
- You may help to identify if and where processes are not working and make applicable recommendations for change.

- You will collaborate as a member of the Test Engineering Team to design solutions for system for system test setup requirements.
- You will learn to use tools and processes for electrical & mechanical engineering design, drafting, export classification, procurement, build instructions, & laboratory testing.
- You will have opportunities to continue developing hands-on engineering skills in a test lab environment, including exposure to machine control and monitoring systems, high-speed data acquisition systems, aircraft power and communication systems, and more.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained prior to start.
- Technical writing skill, (engineering documents and lab reports).
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: .

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics Major.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
