Test Systems Engineer

The Test Systems Engineer will provide a variety of technical duties related to the testing of state-of-the-art networked data links and subassemblies for L-3 Communications - the sixth largest defense contractor in the United States.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Derive, manage product test requirements specific to outsourcing

·         Manage outsource test development, transition, and system upgrade projects

·         Perform test system verification, calibration, and maintenance

·         Perform troubleshooting and failure isolation on test systems and processes

·         Compile test yields, failures, logs, and related test system data

·         Manage test procedure, test software, system software configuration management

·         Participate in engineering product design reviews

·         Recommend design for test requirements

·         Track, report on testing, debug, and engineering task status

·         Participate in test outsource proposal creation and review

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in EE, or equivalent accreditation
  • 2 years of experience preferred
  • Must have strong EE skills in both digital and RF
  • Project and team leadership experience preferred
