Description

This is a test manager position on an Agile team that is charged with implementing new products and functionality for our Institutional Insurance business partners. The team (comprised of Scrum Masters, Developers, Business Analysts) is looking for a motivated individual to drive testing and own product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Agile team and strategic vendors to develop and release high quality implementations
  • Contribute actively in standups, sprint planning, and demos
  • Work with the team and business partners to create the test strategy and test cases
  • Own and manage testing for our various releases
  • Learn the Institutional business and applications so you can ensure a quality product is released
  • Capture and share knowledge
  • Focus on continuous improvement and learning
  • Collaborate with QA Center of Excellence
  • Supports the team's adherence to MassMutual's QA and testing related standards and methodology framework
  • Innovator thinker and isn’t afraid to take risks
  • Engages functional, performance and automation resources to identify opportunities
  • Drives integration, system, and regression testing plans and facilitates reporting and signoff
  • Drives business acceptance testing
  • Provides guidance to QA vendor partners or application vendor partners and other employees
  • Accountable for identifying and addressing risk management concerns

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role
  • Has knowledge of functional, regression, and automated testing
  • Ability to drive the overall planning and execution of moderately complex testing activities in support of the Institutional Insurance products
  • Knows how to monitor scope and requirement changes and assess the impact on the Quality Assurance (QA) deliverables
  • Provides accurate estimates and reuse where appropriate, and reports on progress
  • Can lead the defect management process
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role preferred
  • Prior experience working in the financial services business
  • Knowledge of financial products, services and solutions
  • Prior experienceworking with data projects
  • Experience scripting or coding simple applications – will help learning automation tools'
