Description

Responsible for driving testing on more complex technology activities on various customer facing products. Conducts feasibility analysis and creates test design solutions for Product. Determines and manages the building of efficient environments for test, identification of test data, including virtualization.

Collaborates with team members, architects, and other IT resources to create and execute thorough technical test strategies, detailed test plans, and scenarios in accordance with the test strategy and risk based test methodology. Ensures accurate estimates, drives reuse where appropriate, and reports on progress for self and team. Matures existing testing frameworks to drive reusability and assists in the process of identifying new technical solutions to make testing more efficient and effective. Accountable for identifying and reporting risks and issues, along with participating in the solution if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Understands and interprets the hardware stack the product runs on, the UX-design, and acceptance criteria of product.

• Leads the testing team in the development of manual test cases against stories identified in sprints and epics.

• Ensures the team is utilizing BDD principals when authoring test cases and generating bugs

• Ensures testing team is executing to overall agile process

• Leads the team to determine test data requirements and needs, and then satisfying the requirements

• Coordinates performance testing assessment and performance testing cycles

• Coordinates activities with QA engineers (automation) to maximize automation capability

• Coordinates and participates in the execution of testing on sprints and epics

• Coordinates with the Delivery Lead on the removal of testing blockers Anticipates testing issues and successfully navigates team in avoiding them

• Creates and maintains testing metrics which ensure the team is effectively executing

• Participates in all agile ceremonies

• Continuously develops new skills to improve testing capabilities of products

• Accountable for driving continuous testing improvements for the team

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree

• 4 years of QA test management or test lead experience

• Strong knowledge of mobile & web application design, development, and testing processes, tools and methodologies

• Strong knowledge of mobile & web middleware design, development, and testing processes, tools and methodologies, including understanding and practical knowledge of backend integration

• Practical working knowledge of mobile application platforms, technologies, and ecosystem as it pertains to development (Apple iOS, and Google Android, Web Technologies)

• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining manual testing scripts

• Hands–on experience creating metrics

• 1 year of hands-on experience with JIRA

• 1 year of hands on experience with Gherkin Syntax

• 2 year of Agile experience

• Authorized to work in the United States with or without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of QA test management or test lead experience

• 2 years of hands-on experience with JIRA

• 2 years of hands on experience with Gherkin Syntax

• 3 years of Agile experience
