We are currently seeking a Battery Testing Lab Manager tosupport thequalification of advanced lithium ion battery technology for consumer electronics applications. You will own the operation ofelectrical,mechanical, and metrology test equipment and effective use of lab personnel. You will also improve overall lab testing and characterization capabilities to meet the requirements of existing and future programs.
- Ensure proper level of staffing, training, and resource coordination to effectively addressrequiredqualification testing activities - Schedule and monitor work tasks insupport of project development timelines - Develop and implement applicable test procedures related tochemical,electrical, andmechanical characterization of cells and battery packs - Ensure the highest possible data integrity from the lab - Report on critical metrics to team and management - Runbudget for lab operation and lab tooling - Work withinternal multi-functional teams to qualify new battery designs - Develop strategies forinternal personnel and external suppliers to maintain and optimize test equipment, operating software, data handling, data traceability and lab facilityinfrastructure- Complete and ensure testing operations are in full accordance with corporate and regulatory policies
