Job Overview:
This Test Engineer position will focus on testing of complex electro - mechanical assemblies.  Responsibilities include providing technical direction on and development of test and inspection equipment and supporting test processes.  Test Engineers are a key resource for the Focus Factory (FF) team and are chartered with the implementation and validation of the test equipment at the site.

Lead Development of new or modification of current test process to improve production efficiencies  
Lead New Customer/Production Introductions
Lead Test ECO Implementation
Lead installation of customer or internally supplied test equipment
Ensure effective training methods are identified and available to all FF's
Support FFs in rationalizing equipment and configuration requirements to meet manufacturing and customer needs
Support test acceptance and yield improvement processes
Adhere to global SOPs and work instructions
Additional duties as assigned by management
Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business

Ability to multi task on multiple projects at one time
Strong organizational, time management, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbal and written
Assertive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and negotiation
Maintain strong working relationships with FF personnel, program management, Product Services Engineering group, and process support personnel
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
Basic knowledge of electronic components
Basic understanding of Structured Design
Intermediate knowledge of National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand
Basic knowledge of JAVA script (highly desired)
Basic C++ programming skills

Education & Experience: 
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technologies or Electrical Engineering is preferred
A minimum of 3 years experience is required for this position.  Equivalent industry experience of 1 or more years is highly desirable.
Multi-site or multi-customer experience is highly preferred
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools, a plus
