Test Engineer, Junior
Serve as a test engineer in a fast-paced environment, including working with multiple project teams, platforms, architectures, and diverse technologies. Work under the direction of senior technical staff and other team members in an Agile environment. Design, develop, test, and implement software and hardware systems. Develop unit and integration test procedures. Update and create new automation test scripts based on change requests and defects and execute test scripts to ensure the application is fully compliant with specifications. Perform automated and manual testing, including functional or system test, integration test, regression test, and performance test. Work under supervision with open source automation tools and continuous integration processes.
-9 years of experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using the Waterfall model and Agile methodology
-Experience with automated test tools
-Experience with the effective execution of automation processes
-Knowledge of test methodologies
-Ability to analyze requirements, formulate design, be a team player, and work independently in a time sensitive environment
-Secret clearance required
-HS diploma or GED
-Ability to show creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
-Ability to thrive in communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings
-Ability to demonstrate an aptitude for testing and quality
-Ability to work as a team player with high energy and thrive in an ambiguous environment
-Ability to overcome triage issues and react well to changes
-Ability to multi-task on multiple products and projects
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
