Analog Devices is hiring a Test Engineer based in Colorado Springs, CO. The Test Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing high performance test solutions on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for first silicon verification, characterization, qualification and manufacturing of Power and Mixed Signal products:

• Work with design engineers in defining/developing test methodologies, test plans, test modes, SCAN and IDDq test patterns.

• Evaluate new test platforms. Install and integrate new ATE platform with world-wide manufacturing systems.

• Design, develop and debug multi-site, cost effective test HW/SW solutions for characterization, qualification and production wafer probe and final test.

• Work with lay-out engineers in designing of Printed Circuit Boards multi-site test HW.

• Work with design engineers in validating/correlating new test HW/SW solution to design bench reference data.

• Manage and maintain projects schedules that align with product introduction and release dates.

• Engage and support local and offshore manufacturing to maintain production yield and high quality, and resolve product and test problems after production release.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's degree a plus) in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical discipline such as Electronics Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience involving: analyzing and debugging analog and digital circuits; designing hardware and software solutions for Automated Test Equipment that minimize test cost and maximize test performance
  • Developing multi-site test program using the C++ programming language
  • Using schematic and layout tools such as Orcad, Cadence ALLEGRO; performing statistical data analysis using Excel or other data tools;
  • Documenting and presenting test plans and evaluation reports for power and mixed-signal products.
  • Experience with ATE system calibration and verification required.
  • Experience with ATE system level architecture and integration, as well new test platform installation and world-wide manufacturing, wafer sort, and final test integration.
  • Experience with the ETS-364 tester platform is required. Experience with the NI STS and/or Advantest 93K platforms is a plus.
  • Demonstrated performance with leading-edge high-complexity mixed-signal Power products.
  • Experience with high-voltage, high-current devices and integrated drivers preferred.
  • Experience with creating and converting digital test patterns from design simulation into ATE test patterns.
