Job Description

Job Description:

Define and implement IC test solutions for next generation FPGA SOC products. Workclosely with senior team members and Design teams on Design-For-Test (DFT) features, Built-In-Self-Test (BIST), structural and functional test methodologies, and pre-silicon test validation. Develop test generation automation, embedded firmware and lab and ATE hardware to ensure fast silicon bring-up cycle time, test coverage and product cost goals. Bring up new test programs and hardware on first silicon and stabilize initial manufacturing test. Release and transfer new product test programs and hardware to Operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior team members and design engineers to help define DFT (Design-For-Test) features, test methodology and test coverage requirements to effectively screen manufacturing defects and ensure performance for next generation programmable SOC devices
  • Help develop custom test generation software tools to increase productivity and ensure quality of custom test methodologies and ATE test flows
  • Generate, simulate, and validate test firmware and test methodologies pre-silicon
  • Generate, debug, and release ATE test flows and hardware for initial silicon bring up and rollout
  • Support initial silicon bring-up through debug and roll-out of calibration and manufacturing defect screening test flows
  • Transfer new product test plans, test flows and hardware to Operations teams
  • Support continuous innovation in test development, rollout, product quality and cost

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • BSEE / BSCS or equivalent. MSEE / MSCS preferred
  • 0 to 2 years related experience in Logic Design, Design For Test (DFT), Firmware development, or Software development
  • Knowledge of CMOS digital or analog circuits operation and characteristics. Knowledge of FPGAs, dual port memories, NVM, SERDES, PLL or embedded processors preferred.
  • Capable of programming in C/C++, JAVA, or similar language. Additional embedded software skills preferred.
  • Capable of operating bench equipment, DVM, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc. in a lab environment. Additional ATE knowledge preferred.
