Job Description
Position Overview
Boeing Phantom Works is seeking a Test Conductor (TC) to support proprietary activities including leading technical aspects of test planning and execution, including both ground and flight test.

This position requires current Top Secret clearance. Prefer candidate with current Special Programs Access.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Plan and coordinate ground and flight test mission requirements with responsible engineers from internal and external customers.
  • Support ground and flight tests as a team leader to include coordination aircraft configuration and maintenance, test team scheduling and training, and long term test activity planning.
  • Participate in test planning working group meetings, develop and publish test plans, develop flight test and mission profiles, and create flight test cards.
  • Manage test schedules and identify and coordinate the availability of test ranges and facilities.
  • Plan and conduct technical and safety review boards, plan and conduct flight test readiness reviews.
  • Conduct pre- and post-test briefings, and execute ground and flight tests in accordance with established test plans and procedures.
  • Participate in post-test data evaluation and problem identification and resolution.
  • Prepare and publish test summaries and test reports.

Qualifications

This position requires an active/current Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher is required.
  • Experience with aircraft ground and flight tests.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidate should be self-motivated.
  • Candidate should have ability to effectively interface with personnel from multiple engineering, manufacturing, and operations disciplines.
  • Candidate should have demonstrated skills in operations safety.
  • Candidate should have experience planning and executing test missions. including test card preparation, test mission briefing, test execution, and test mission debriefing.
