Qualifications

  • Troubleshoot technical issues encountered during testing and collaborate with senior engineers for resolution.
  • Maintain an understanding of available test equipment and testing capabilities within the Test Bay.
  • Support evaluation and implementation of new test equipment, tools, and processes.
  • Document test results thoroughly, including observations and recommended improvements.
  • Work with Engineering and R&D teams to clarify technical requirements and support issue resolution.
  • Strictly apply all safety rules and maintain a clean testing environment.

SUMMARYOFTHEJOB

TheTestEngineerisresponsibleforexecutingtesting,troubleshooting,andverificationactivitiesonGutorIndustrialUPSsystemsinaccordancewithestablishedproceduresandqualitystandards.Thisroleensuresthatalltestsareperformedsafely,accurately,efficiently,anddocumentedproperly.TheTestEngineersupportscontinuousimprovementoftestingprocesses,collaborateswithengineeringteamstoresolvetechnicalissues,andcontributestomaintaininghightestingreliabilityandproductquality.

MAINRESPONSIBILITIES

Testing&TechnicalResponsibilities

  • Performfunctional,load,performance,andspecialtestsonUPSsystemsandrelatedequipmentfollowingGutorproceduresandsafetyguidelines.
  • ReviewprojectdocumentationrelatedtotestingrequirementsandclarifyspecialtestneedswithProjectManagers/Engineerswhennecessary.
  • Troubleshoottechnicalissuesencounteredduringtestingandcollaboratewithseniorengineers,industrialization,ordesignengineeringforresolution.
  • MaintainanunderstandingofavailabletestequipmentandtestingcapabilitieswithintheTestBay.
  • Assistindefiningandrefiningtestingstandards,procedures,andrequirementsforspecialtests.
  • Supportevaluationandimplementationofnewtestequipment,tools,andprocesses.
  • Documenttestresultsthoroughly,includingobservations,deviations,andrecommendedimprovements.
  • Supportqualificationtestingofcomponentsandsystemswhenrequired.

ProcessDocumentation&EquipmentSupport

  • FollowallTestBayworkinstructions,safetyinstructions,andtestingprocesses.
  • Providefeedbackwhendocumentationimprovementsareneededandsupportupdateswhereappropriate.
  • Ensureassignedtoolsandequipmentareproperlymaintainedandidentifywhencalibrationorserviceisrequired.
  • SupportpreventivemaintenanceactivitiesforTestBayinfrastructurewhenrequested.
  • Contributetoidentifyingbottlenecks,recurringissues,andimprovementopportunitiesintestingworkflows.
  • AssisttheTestBayPlannerbyprovidingaccuratetimeestimatesfortestingactivitieswhenneeded.
  • Practiceautonomousmaintenanceforassignedtoolsandtestequipment.

Cross-functionalCollaboration

  • WorkwithEngineeringandR&Dteamstoclarifytechnicalrequirementsandsupportissueresolution.
  • Providepracticaltestingfeedbacktodesignanddevelopmentteamstohelpimprovetestabilityandproductrobustness.
  • Participateinqualityimprovementactivitiesandprovideinputtoroot-causeanalyseswhenassigned.

  • StrictlyapplyallsafetyrulesandelectricalsafetyproceduresintheTestBay.
  • Maintainaclean,organized,andsafetestingenvironment.
  • Reportunsafeconditions,nearmisses,orequipmentconcernsimmediately.

REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS

  • BachelorsdegreeinElectricalEngineeringorequivalenttechnicalbackground.
  • Experienceinelectricalmeasurement,testing,andtroubleshooting.
  • 3 65yearsofrelevantexperiencetestingUPS,powerelectronics,chargingsystems,orsimilarindustrialelectricalequipment.
  • Strongunderstandingofelectricalsafetyhazardsandsafeworkingpractices.
