Our client is a rapidly-growing manufacturer and distributor of technical, value-added products sold to car dealerships and other automotive-related businesses. The products are compelling, in-demand and clearly help the customer up-sell to their end customer & increase revenues.
They have engaged Navigator Search Advisors to help identify the right person to help them grow the business in Oklahoma City. They already have a presence in OKC but have tremendous potential to grow the business there significantly.
The Territory Sales Representative will serve existing customers and develop new ones – this is a pure outside sales position, calling on dealerships and other automotive businesses (like repair shops, customizers, etc.).
The new hire will ‘own’ those existing accounts – at this company, there are no ‘house accounts’ and the Sales Rep earns on every account in their Territory. The Territory Sales Representative will proactively pursue new business in the area.
This person must bring the discipline to use a modern CRM tool (they have hundreds of leads identified that have never been called) to help them be more successful selling, and be used to being out in their territory calling on customers in person in a B2B setting. A key responsibility & skill is identifying and navigating the buyers and influencers at the customer.
While there will be considerable driving in the local area, this is not expected to be a job that requires any overnight travel.
A key aspect to this – management firmly believes that the best Sales professionals thrive in an environment where there is NO CAP to earnings. They also increase commissions as sales increase – dramatically. This is the kind of place where strong sales professionals can build and keep their book of business, earning more and more each year – and can earn a lot – certainly well into 6 figures is expected.

Location: Anywhere in or around OKC is fine. The Sales Rep will be based out of a home office.
Compensation: Base Salary will depend on skills/experience & is negotiable. Typically the commissions target is equal to the base – meaning total comp at target is double the base salary. NO CAP and the commissions accelerate as sales increase and jump dramatically when you pass your sales goal. They want their salespeople to earn a lot – that means you’re generating a lot of revenue, and it’s a win-win.
There is a car allowance; a company vehicle is likely in the future.
· 3-5 or more years of experience in outside sales
· Track record of success against sales goals
· Accustomed to working with a CRM
· Understand how to effectively sell to buyers and influencers
