The Territory Manager is responsible for the sale of our windows? products to existing dealer accounts and new customers within the assigned geographic territory. By using technical, organizational, industry and customer knowledge to influence customers, the Territory Manager assists them in applying our products to their needs resulting in revenue generation. The Territory Manager develops and conducts retail and product-based training to dealers and their staff. The Territory Manager participates in weekly and monthly territory activity planning and reporting efforts, as well as in Trade Shows and Dealer Events as needed. This position requires travel by car and by plane.

1.    Ensure yearly growth of territory based on established forecast by management

2.    Continued growth of territory through the establishment of new accounts

3.    Establish ?personal? value to our Dealers through effective monthly sales training

4.    Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service issues, responding appropriately and with empathy.

5.    Manage assigned territory by:

a.    Building strategic brand equity/correct brand to correct size dealer

b.    Establishing proper pricing programs to maximize volume and net profitability

c.    Establishing a consistent presence with each dealer

d.    Proper management of account utilizing salesreports

e.    Working a territory effectively. Monthly overnights must match territory size

6.    Report expenses timely and accurately. Ensure proper use of expenses based on account or account potential.

7.    Complete reports to Regional Manager in a timely manner

a.    Monthly Target Reports

b.    Submission of weekly schedule and recap of past week by 7 am EST Monday morning

c.    Reasons for decrease or increase in dealer sales

d.    Competitive information

e.    Credit issues of which you are aware

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Normal business days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., however hours may vary based on customer needs. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


Travel to visit customers is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

1.    HS Diploma or equivalent is required, College Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field is preferred.

2.    prior salesexperience is required and knowledge of the window and door or building products industry, both retail and wholesale is preferred.


  • Prefer someone in or around the Dallas/Ft. Worth area
  • 2-3 years window and door salesexperiencepreferred
  • Business-to-businesssalesexperience (we sell direct to distributors, contractors, etc.)
  • In-home salesexperience as well (we train our dealer's sales teams on our products for in home sales)
  • Training experience
  • Demonstrated success in growing existing customer sales
  • Demonstrated success in growing new customer sales
