What you'll be doing:

You'll be responsible for autonomously promoting Tandem Diabetes insulin pumps and services within the Orlando territory in partnership with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist. Your goal will be to ensure your territory is meeting and exceeding company sales goals. You'll lead a strategic business plan, identify potential customers and establish and develop business relationships with both providers and patients. You'll be entrepreneurial. What you need for this position:

  • BS/BA from a four-year college or university plus 3 years of related industry sales experience; preferably in one or more of the following areas: diabetes, endocrinology, insulin infusion pumps, and managed care. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Ability to travel at least 80% in your assigned territory; must maintain a valid driver's license and required auto insurance as well as good driving record, per company policy.
  • Motivation and drive to meet and even exceed sales goals.
  • Ability to relate effectively with patients, referral sources and health care professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers to resolve issues and answer questions according to company protocols and requirements.
  • Ability to assert own ideas and persuade others through effectively consolidating, evaluating, and presenting relevant information.
  • Skilled at promoting team cooperation and commitment to team success.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing market and see change as an opportunity to improve business performance and will campaign for it when necessary.
