SUMMARY: As a dynamic and results oriented Territory Manager, you will drive business growth initiatives that leverage our highly differentiated solutions and achieve significant financial growth for Polymers Adhesives North America (PADNA) Heavy Industry Segment in Northern Ontario, Canada
? Tactical and operational planning with Regional Sales Manager and Segment Manager to determine primary objectives within region.
? Develop and implement robust plans to achieve significant growth for the Heavy Industry Segment within region.
? Provide technical support to our end users via detailed plant auditing and training that reinforces our value proposition for the Mining and Heavy Industry segment.
? Develop and support a robust channelnetwork that includes IndustrialDistribution as well as Direct Service providers to our end users.
? Assist with identifying market needs, trends, and opportunities within assigned territory.
? Effectively manage allotted budget and resources.
? Develop an understanding and competency of our SalesForce.com CRM.
? Effectively communicate with others inside and outside of the company in a tactful, courteous manner to promote customer service orientation.
? Identify and resolve customer pain points and offer solutions.
? Perform market/channel projects as required by the overall business strategy.
? Promote, support and adhere to all safety and quality related policies and procedures.
? Other duties as assigned.
Education: College diploma (in a technical field)
Experience: 3 + years sales experience. Experience or understanding in at least one of the following areas: industrial adhesives or protective coatings, mine services, mechanical conveying equipment or services.
Competencies: Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required. Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
Travel: Approximately 40% overnight travel. Ideally live within 2-3 hours of Timmons, Ontario area.
Physical: Must have the ability to lift materials up to 50lbs. Ability to sit and stand for up to 8 hours/day.
· 5 plus year's industry or sales experience in the Mineral Processing or Mine Services industry
· Mine Engineering degree/CET/MET or BSc Degree
