WEG Electric has a great opportunity for an accomplished sales professional to manage and grow a territory in the Midwest region consisting of Nebraska and Western Iowa. This role is responsible for developing and implementing an approved business plan to increase WEG product sales and market share of electric motors, gearing and motor controls. Key responsibilities include developing WEG sales to Distributors, OEMs and End User customers in collaboration with our inside sales team as well as other departments that may be involved in the sale process. Ideal candidate should reside in the Lincoln/Omaha area.
Most qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field and 5+ years of applicable industrial sales experience, ideally in motors. Experience with pumps, compressors, fans, and material handling applications is desired. Candidates should have ability to build long-term relationships and communicate with people at all levels. Travel will be required throughout the territory. Travel is approximately 80%.
We are looking for someone to develop WEG product distribution (to OEM's and Distributors) through joint sales calls, presentations and training. Administer corporate contracts, emphasize sellable features, quote prices, credit terms and delivery estimates. Travel to customer's location and, occasionally, attends trade shows.
