Drives to a common goal within a set number of named account and a given territory. The mission is to broaden the reach of all named accounts and territory to ensure the Avid foothold across the entire segment.
Responsible for selling the complete Avid’s solution, products, and services within an assigned list of focused Named Accounts and territory.
Adopts account portfolio sales strategy leveraging channel partners where applicable.
Focuses on top tier accounts and collaborate with Inside Sales teams, channel partners and PAMs to ensure complete coverage of entire account portfolio and territory.
Responsible to move the transaction through the entire sales cycle.
Drives adoption and identify new opportunities in assigned territory.
Solidifies existing customer accounts and elevate Avid to a more strategic position.
Matches the Avid solution to the customer’s business needs, challenges, and technical requirements. Develops and manage a partner strategy by selecting a set of “preferred” partners, develop a collaborative account planning and enable channel partners to be an extension of Avid sales force.
Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
Utilizes Sales Force CRM for all activities and account/territory management.
Able to mobilize resources and develop pipeline for the given territory in collaboration with marketing.

Solution Selling based methodology with the ability to convey value and differentiation
Minimum of 7 years of technology sales experience, with a track record of consistent over-achievement against assigned quota
Hunter mentality with proven experience in effectively building a regional territory, highly driven and self-motivated
Demonstrated success in selling post-production, asset management, and cloud workflows a plus
Strong business acumen; polished, and articulate, comfortable selling and presenting to senior level executives
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Creative problem solver who can react quickly and multi-task
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS experience a plus
Fluent with Salesforce.com, MS Office, LinkedIn, and social media
Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer or Pro Tools knowledge is a plus
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
