  • Will be responsible for the monitoring, troubleshooting, and improvement of the Ethylene Oxide and Ethylene Glycol unit process control system
  • Identifies opportunities for business technology improvements exploiting existing system capabilities and potential
  • Uses automation and advanced logic technologies to advance the four core principles of Stewardship, Quality, Reliability, and Engagement (SQRE)
  • Leverages technology improvements across manufacturing processes and companies to deliver value, innovation, and high performance
  • Collaborates with IT and OT Systems owners to minimize technology interruptions
  • Develops risk plans for equipment obsolescence and recommendations for path(s) forward


  • Fundamental understanding of process control theory, experience with process modeling tools and techniques, experience with loop tuning
  • Experience troubleshooting and programming control systems
  • Ability to work with plant engineers, external vendors, operators and management
  • Ability to troubleshoot control systems from the field element up through operator interfaces and databases
  • Experience with Foxboro DCS
  • Experience with Triconex SIS
  • Experience with Wonderware
  • Working knowledge of instrumentation design and installation
  • Required Years of Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years chemicals industry or equivalent experience
  • Required Education:
  • Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree (preference for Chemical Engineer)
