The Technology Project Managers are responsible for the successful implementation and technical support of client programs as well as any other technology-focused project. As leader of the Technology Project Manager Office, you will serve as the initial principal conduit between the client and PSI during technology solution implementations and ensure client satisfaction through the successful rollout and ongoing support of our leading technology solutions. He/she will be responsible for implement continuous optimizations ensuring an optimal experience for our PSI Clients. Activities of the position include:

Optimizing Client Implementations

  • Strengthen messaging to our customers and partner network to reduce complexity and confusion on how to implement and leverage PSI technologies. This includes helping customers more easily understand how to combine and configure the various components to meet specific business needs.
  • Find an innovative way of measuring our performance and implementing continuous process improvements;
  • Identify opportunities in the use of processes, tools, etc., to improve the interaction with our Clients;
  • Monitor and manage the implementation progress of projects; determine risks to the success of the solution activation and manage escalation programs and processes.

Launching New Clients

  • Be the first touchpoint once a SOW/contract has been signed including providing leadership over the following tasks to:
  • Review and understand the SOW/contract, organize requirements, lead/resolve any internal gap issues and lead a kick-off call with the client;
  • Manage the implementation schedule;
  • Handoff ongoing client support to Client Services prior to the end of the initial launch;
  • Ensure a successful launch overall; resolve issues, provide leadership, lead communications and provide recommendations on future client requirements.
  • Support Existing Client Programs
  • Maintain the day to day client relationship during the initial client implementation and ensure client satisfaction with delivered services;
  1. issues reported by client during client implementations. Over the relationship with the client, provide general technology troubleshooting and advice as requested. Document system issues.
  • Maintain working relationship with internal teams, including Test Center Operations, Client Services, Test Publishing, Software Development, and others to ensure client's needs are met.
  • • Manage client requests and expectations to ensure optimization of internal resources.

General Functions and Outcomes

  • Responsible for project outcomes through effective project planning, task definition, scope management, resource allocation, release planning and negotiation, risk mitigation, cost management and stakeholder communication.

  • Act as the primary interface with senior management, various boards and steering committees, and business function managers to ensure the project achieves the intended business results. Manage rather than react to sponsor initiated pre-project launch activities. Optimizes executive leadership and sponsor engagement.
  • Manage and maintain enhanced project performance monitoring and control capabilities via variance reporting, issues management and change control, as assessed by leadership.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with business units; act as a liaison between internal customers- Business Development, Sales, Operations, Account Management- and project management staff to continuously improve service and enhance effectiveness.
  • Monitor project results and metrics to ensure deliverables are met. Continually strive for enhanced Client Support.
  • Provide overall guidance/facilitation for Requirements methodology execution in support of programs and projects, and ensures well-disciplined business process management protocols.
  • Develop a strong team that excel at working across the company in delivering an excellent end to end project management experience.
  • Develop and implement systems, policies and procedures for functional areas. Analyze work flows to optimize business process and compliance, identify system business requirements and continuously improve processes and outcomes.

  • Demonstrated success at project management in the execution of large-scale, concurrent projects and Client implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience in client management, project management methodology, Agile methodology, business life cycle, mission/vision/strategy, project planning and organization, risk management, resource management and issue management.
  • Ability to develop and implement new approaches, processes and methodologies.
  • Exceptional facilitation skills with all levels of the organization and external Clients/Customers, including the ability to resolve issues and build consensus among groups of diverse stakeholders including highly visible and sensitive communications
  • Ability to coordinate initiatives and bring people together across multiple locations, lines of businesses, and functions, work with ambiguity and build successful relationships.
  • Experience/Education Background: Have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field, 5 years 'experience in a management/leadership role, preferably in project management or enterprise business analysis, and 10 years of IT and business work experience with 5-7 years of experience in program/project management with focus on Client/Customer interactions.

  • Certification in Project Management strongly preferred.
  • Agile Certifications preferred.
