This position willlead the communications, identify change impacts and develop training plans related to implementing the Technology Business Management (TBM) practice across the Technology enterprise. The TBM practice will provide full cost transparency of the Technology budgets and investments.

This position will work with the IT leadership team to gain alignment on the practice changes and to provide analytical reporting capability that will enable better decisions on how the IT budget is allocated to optimize strategic value for the company.

This position is responsible for managing a team that is responsible for translating data into meaningful and actionable insights for business partners. Analyses performed by this team directly impact and influence strategic decision making across the firm. The role will use reports from disparate data sources to spot meaningful trends and patterns. Findings may be communicated through dashboards, graphs, charts etc.

This team works closely with IT leadership to identity insights that drive cost efficiencies and strategic value for the company.

Responsibilities:

• Establish an overall organization change management plan which includes a communication plan, training, etc.

• Identify the TBM change impacts to the Technology organization.

• Design training content using a variety of media; presentations, videos, CBT's, facilitator guides, etc.

• Facilitate training and learning sessions to Technology leadership, BRM's, Finance, and other Technology team members.

• Be a change advocate, constantly reviewing and looking for opportunities to address gaps in knowledge.

• Maintain and revise training materials as needed; prepare for shifts in business unit strategy.

• Partner with Technology Delivery Executives and BRM's to obtain adoption of the TBM practices, tool, and reporting capabilities.

• Analyze data and reports to identify trends/insights that will influence IT Decisions.

• Conduct reporting, including reporting from disparate data sources, to support business requirements.

• Use deductive and inductive research approaches to support decision making.

• Help the IT Delivery Executives identify and formulate insight hypotheses (deductive).

• Monitor data and identify patterns and trends (inductive).

• Provide self-service capability using the Apptio tool for the Delivery Exec teams.

• Identify and implement reports needed that augment Apptio and drive further efficiencies.

• Work with all the Delivery Execs and their team to support the Apptio self-service adoption.

• Define, measure, and report Objectives and Key Result metrics for the TBM and Delivery Exec teams.

• Lead in communicating findings to the IT leadership team in a concise and understandable fashion.

• Present presentations, graphs, dashboards, etc. to display findings and results utilizing Apptio, Tableau, PowerPoint, etc.

• Ensure bias and data quality issues are resolved or explained when communication occurs.

• Train, mentor and develop Analysts and Managers on team through regular coaching and one-on-ones

• Collaborate with analysts to use expanded data sets and query techniques

• Participate in seminars and trainings to advance reporting capabilities

• Partner with other analytical groups in the company to share learnings and best practices.

Requirements:

• 4 Year College Degree Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience required

• Graduate Degree preferred (MBA, Computer Science, Finance)

• 8 - 10 total years of experience

• Proficiency with the Apptio tool

• Understanding of Technology Business Management (TBM) practice

• Analytical and reporting experience

• Organizational Change Management experience

• Needs to have a strong leadership presence, facilitation experience, and excellent presentation skills

• Ability to partner, communicate, and influence effectively with internal stakeholders across Technology

• Excellent computer skills

• Ability to analyze and identify training needs and potential solutions

• Strong leadership skills, sense of urgency, self-starter and ability to manage several projects at once

• Experience with Tableau analytical tool would be preferred

• Understanding and ability to conduct data extraction

• Demonstrated ability to coach, manage and develop a team of analysts and/or managers

• Strong influencing capabilities and executive presence to be able influence business partners without authority

• Demonstrates curiosity about what drives business trends and customer behaviors

• Must be comfortable with constantly evolving environment and rapidly changing priorities

• Must be Business-Centric, Data-Oriented, Analytically Minded and Results Driven

• Strong understanding of product metrics such as conversion rates, response rates, ROI, etc.

• Strong Knowledge of SQL Server

• Ability to identify appropriate datasets to be able to support analytics

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Advanced critical thinking skills to scope and frame problems

• Displays excellent judgment to understand and support business needs

• Must be able to effectively plan and manage responsibilities autonomously
