Support technical matters facilitating the development of Major Command (MAJCOM) requirements for new and emerging technologies
Perform technical analysis associated with the assigned task area for problems with specific objectives and requiring investigation of a limited number of variables
Exercise judgment as required on task details and in making recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements
Perform duties under supervision of senior engineer(s)
Follow, perform, and record the results of the execution of a test plan
Other duties as assigned
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Requirements
Education/Training (both required and desired):
Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
Master's Degree in technical discipline preferred
Experience:
3+ years of experience in the areas of new and/or improved EW capabilities to increase weapon/bomber survivability, low observable coatings, low observable maintenance and evaluation capabilities, offensive/defensive infrared and RF counter-measures, and weapons and mission planning capabilities
Minimum of two years of experience with the DoD Innovation Center
Preferred Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience with aircraft operations T&E, test plan development, and test execution
Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development and testing
Security:
Must be a US citizen
Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI required
