? Developing and managing dealer facing and customer facing technology content across a variety of digitalchannels ?
? Coordinating with technology subject matter experts to develop technical reference materials (e.g. user guides, web copy, feature/benefit overviews, competitive advantage selling points) ?
? Managing the development of interactive technology demonstrations (e.g. animations, videos, selection tools) ?
? Establishing relationships with enterprise process owners around the globe to execute and publish content and deliverables (e.g. dealer intranet, translations, brand, legal, marketing and digital) ?
? Working collaboratively with Construction Industry Machine Marketing Managers, Marketing Communications Consultants and Regional Technology Field Consultants to provide timely and accurate information to dealers and customers ?
? Liaising with internal communication specialists to provide content availability updates to technology stakeholders
Position will be a fundamental part of a team that:
1) creates positive user experiences online
2) provides salessupport materials for dealer and technology marketing field teams
3) supports go-to-market commercial strategies
4) ensures product launch marketing readiness is achieved
5) drives growth in connected assets, software/app usage and paid subscriptions
?Responsible for the writing, updating and publishing of technical and sales ready content on both internal and external websites (e.g. microsites, intranets, digital content management systems).
? The position will support client's Technology New Product Introductions (NPI), as well as Software/Mobile Application upgrades and subscriptions.
? Working as an advocate for consistent, quality communication, the position will be responsible for aligning with standard company processes for content development, approval and deployment processes across several online channels.
? Additional responsibilities include tracking the usage and adoption of technical literature/assets.
?Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Agri-Business, Agri-Marketing or related fields
? Candidate should have 3-7years of prior communications experience in technical writing or copyrighting at a business or marketing/advertising agency.
? A candidate with 2-3years of communication experience at a manufacturing/industrial, construction or agriculture organization is preferred.
? Prior work experience at Caterpillar is also preferred.
? Previous web content management experience?
?Experience writing technical product documents, training or salessupport content ?
? Expertise in MS Office Suite and Adobe (Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Photoshop) ?
? Proficiency in editorial skills ? facilitating and editing a document from proposal/notes/interview to final version, incorporating input from multiple authors, subject matter experts, reviewers and approvers ?
? Working knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style or Associated Press/AP Style writing
? Possess excellent organizational skills to work independently, handle multiple projects, implement global content plans, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines ?
?Experience with change management ?
? ability to quickly react and adapt to change in a fast-paced work atmosphere ?
? Ability to work effectively in culturally diverse environment, coordinating material requests and requirements as part of a global team
