Polaris Alpha is looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our software engineering team. You will work side by side with a team of talented engineers who work collaboratively with quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to ensure continuity with our processes.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of applicable technical writing experience a must
• Experience working with developers to write requirements, test plans, test reports, user manuals and design documents
• Experience with Agile development
• Experience with Atlassian tools: Confluence and JIRA
• Software Engineering experience a plus
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Normal office setting, therefore the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. Use of hands to operate computer equipment. Frequent near vision uses for reading and computer use.
