#1 priority has great writing skills; recent grad is ideal due to nature of the job, but open to candidates who've had experience within this skillset.
The main responsibility of this role is updating procedural templates, SOPs, and other forms for the following functional areas: Programming, Statistics, and Data Mgmt
Candidate will review documents and edit grammar. English must be written in clear and precise way
Candidate MUST be available every Wednesday as regular email communications that are sent out department-wide (800 people). The candidate will be responsible for putting this weekly email together as clearly and precisely as possible. The audience the email is being sent to is very technical minded and not native English speakers. Need to be concise and clear with communication.
Assignment is initially six months and may be extended or even temp to perm for the right fit
During the F2F interview, HM will give Technical Procedural Documents to the candidate and ask them to edit for clarity and preciseness
Responsible for editing technical documentation (e.g., procedures, work instructions, forms, templates, specifications) and departmental communications. Ensures that all documents are technically and mechanically accurate, consistent with internal style guidelines, and consistent with clarity, flow, organization, completeness, and readability. Demonstrates the ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy. Able to work under tight deadlines while delivering high quality output. Demonstrates analytical problem-solving skills. Demonstrates strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
A recent graduate or current graduate student may be a good candidate for this position. Exposure to the pharmaceutical industry would be beneficial.
