Job Responsibilities:

  1. Writes, rewrites and/or edits technical documents such as white papers, request for proposals, comment resolution, technical presentation slide decks, manuals, specifications, and related publications to communicate clearly and effectively procurement specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences. 
  2. Acquires subject knowledge by interviewing subject matter experts, program managers and contracting personnel, assessing methods and referring to technical specifications of the requirement. 
  3. Oversees preparation of descriptive materials and charts. Conducts quality review of materials. Expertise in the reviewing of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Federal procurement requirements and ability to work with an established client-directed style guide.

Basic Qualifications: 

  1. BA/BS Degree with a Bachelor’s Degree in English or Writing
  2. Certification in technical reportediting
  3. 6 years of experience with a Master’s Degreepreferred
  4. Must have previous experience working as a tech writer/editor
  5. Experienceworking with Federal departments will be a definite plus

Preferred Qualifications: Familiar with the Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements for procurement's
