The Technical Training Manager provides leadership and direction to the Technical Training Group. Manages technical writers, and training specialists in the development and administration of company-wide training programs designed to provide increased technical tool capabilities to employees across levels and functions. Tools include SAP and PLM, among other engineering, finance, and communication platforms. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents in this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Job Requirements:
Four-year college degree, or equivalent, in electronics, engineering, computer science, finance or a related technical field, plus a minimum of eight years’ experience in the technical training field, and management experience. Minimum three years experience with word processing and spreadsheet applications (Word Perfect, Word, Excel, etc.). Experience with PLM, SAP, Tableau, graphic drawing applications (Micrografix Draw, Visio, AutoCAD, etc.) preferred. Must be available for travel.
