Position Description and Required Skills:

The Technical Support Manager manages the Technical Support Engineering team (R2 team) in the US&C. This includes day-to-day supervisory responsibilities, prioritization of activities, knowledge/training development and deployment, R1 and Field technical support, focused key customer support initiatives, escalation management, and new product readiness. This position works closely with the broader Customer Service and Remote teams to ensure consistency in knowledge, skill development, and deployment. Additional key interface points are with product service engineering and analytics.

Minimum Required Skills

  • Must have a customer first approach and
  • Must have a 4 year technical degree or equivalent and
  • Must have 5+ years technical management experience or equivalent and
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication to include public speaking using PowerPoint presentation.

Desired Skills

  • Carestream Technical product knowledge
  • Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel)
  • CRM skills
