Technical Support Engineer

Mountain View, California

The Position

As the Technical Support Engineer, you will work closely with the Service, Install and Technical Support teams to create the policies and procedures for diagnosing and repairing the MRI systems as part of a larger capital product.

  • Diagnosing and repairing key parts of Siemens-based MRIdian systems
  • Supporting maintenance of the company's MRI components
  • Maintaining all repair tools and equipment
  • Providing remote technical support to customers and service engineers
  • Helping train field engineers and installers at the company's facility
  • Meeting customer deadlines while exceeding the company's quality standards

Knowledge, Education, Experience, Skills

  • 5+ years of diagnosing and repairing MRI equipment or diagnostic medical imaging equipment
  • The ability to demonstrate proactive technical leadership of a wide variety of projects
  • A high level of organization skills and the ability to juggle multiple processes
  • Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process
  • Ability to maintain daily communications with customers and service engineers to ensure proper follow-up and resolutions, leading to customer satisfaction
  • MRI coil repair experience, a plus
  • Energy, enthusiasm, humor, and compassion
