Major Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the Check Point Infrastructure
  • Supporttroubleshooting efforts on Check Point Management and Gateways
  • Provide leadership and assistance with Check Point upgrades, migrations, and transitions
  • Review and recommend changes to the Clorox’s Check Point management environment
  • Perform regular optimization reviews of the Check Point technologies
  • Manage and update Licensing as needed
  • Assist with testing new Check Point products and technologies
  • Perform reporting as requested
  • Assist Clorox security team with security incidents, including providing recommendations for how to leverage available Check Point controls
  • Provide architecture design recommendations for existing and new environments
  • Review current Check Point toolsets in house and address implementation strategy, operational process, and recommendations
  • Best Practice recommendations on current operational and upgrade processes
  • Assist in project planning, review, and operations meetings
  • Assist in day-to-day operations and projects relating to internal security systems and infrastructure concerning Check Point
  • Provide templates, best practices and design support for configuration and implementation of products and features.

Desired Background

  • 5-8years of experience with IP based networks, network design, and security products
  • Experience with several different operating systems: Linux, and Unix- based
  • Extensive troubleshootingexperiencerequired
  • Experience with Check Point products required
  • Strong Provider-1, VPN, Threat Prevention, SandBlast/Sandboxing, and DLP experiencedesired
  • Customer oriented and post-salesexperience with direct face to face engagement
  • Strong presentation and communications skills, including providing training in a classroom-like setting
  • Ability to coordinate combined efforts involving multiple teams
  • Ability to Lead and manage customer situations end to end
  • 50% onsite at customer location in Durham, NC
