Author and deliver Technical Service Training Materials related to industrial production line equipment to include maintenance training and technical aspects related to software, functionality, operational procedures, troubleshooting and other related subjects.
*** Identify training and development needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes, and regular consultation with business leaders to develop training objectives.
*** Plan and manage training schedule to ensure technical training goals are met, limit location conflicts, and optimize available training days.
*** Author and develop all service training material such as Instructor Guides, Student Guides, Labs, and Lab Workbooks, updating annually or in response to product upgrades.
*** Lead training classes of 5-10 individuals in classroom training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, and other computer-aided instructional technologies, simulators, conferences and workshops.
***Lecture on safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and equipment, following outline, handouts and texts.
*** Mentor otherinstructors regarding subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses.
*** Administer written and practical exams and write performance reports to evaluate trainee performance.
*** Assign, measure, monitor, and review team member yearly performance goals and implement performance enhancement actions to meet goals.
*** Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
